Children meet their new teacher
Due to current COVID restrictions, Borough have cancelled all face to face transition dates for year 6. As a result of this and for us to remain within our Bubbles, we will also be unable to carry out the transition days as normal.
On Wednesday 30th June the children will be meeting their new teacher for a short introduction session. These will be outside on the field so we stay within our Risk Assessment guidelines. During this session the children will be able to meet their new class teacher and see who their peers will be. It will also be an opportunity for the children to ask any questions they may have.
They will all be given a booklet to complete in school for their new teacher as a transitioning activity. The children will also be bringing home a ‘Meet the Teacher’ information sheet for them to share with you when they get home, which will tell you which class they are in.
Following the restrictions from last year. We are confident that the children will manage the transition with positively and resilience.
