Maths Evening

Due to the success of our Maths Evenings in previous years, we have decided to hold another one this term and would like to invite you all to attend.

The aim of the evening is to update you as to our current approach to teaching maths using a mastery curriculum and the techniques we use with your children. We will discuss how we use ‘concrete’ resources to support the children’s understanding and talk through the calculation methods we teach from EYFS to Year 6. Following the initial presentation, there will be an opportunity to talk to teachers from each group and explore the range of resources your children use whilst at school. This is will an invaluable experience for all involved as it will enhance the support you are able to give your child at home.

The Maths evening will be held on Tuesday 30th April at 6pm.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate children. For planning purposes, could you please give an indication of whether you are hoping to attend by completeing the form sent home.
