Spring Term 23 Parent Consultations

Parent Consultation meetings

Parent/carer consultation meetings-Monday 13th and Wednesday 15th March 2023 3.30-6.20pm - Year R-6

Additional session for Early Years- Wednesday 22nd March 3.30-5pm

We will be holding our second consultation meeting after half term. Although the online meetings have been very successful, we feel a face-to-face meeting would be beneficial. It will also give you an opportunity to look at the children’s books and see their classrooms.

We will be inviting our Year 6 children to join their parents/carers to discuss their learning and progress. We hope this will help them as part of the transition to secondary, where the children are invited in, and a chance for them to talk about and reflect on their own learning.
We will also be asking some year 6 children to help out at the evening to welcome you and show you where to go and to try and keep everything running on time.
There will be a letter after half containing details on how to book and how the sessions will be organised.

The online booking appointment system will be open from Tuesday 21st February for you to book your appointments with the teachers. You will be able to choose your appointment times with teachers and you will receive an email confirming your appointments.

Please visit https://oakleyprimary.parentseveningsystem.co.uk to book your appointments. You will need to login with your son/daughter’s first name and surname, together with their date of birth.

As a rule, we offer one session per child. If this is going to be a problem for you and you require two meetings for one pupil please email the school. Pease do not book two slots on the system without communicating with us first.

If you have any difficulties logging in or making an appointment, please contact the school.

Welcome to Oakley Primary Academy

It brings me great pleasure to welcome you to Oakley Primary Academy, a proud member of the Meridian Trust. Having joined the school in September 2023, I am honoured to be here to seek to make Oakley the first-choice school for parents and carers in the heart of the community of our wonderful village and local area.

We hope that, during their time with us, our children will enjoy exciting new experiences, deepen and broaden their knowledge of our curriculum, make new friends and love every day. We are very fortunate to have a highly-experienced, professional and dedicated staff body whom I know are committed to ensuring we do our very best for your children.

If you are a parent / carer who is considering sending your child to join our fantastic school, we encourage you to come and see us 'in action' during the day. We are confident that you will agree this is a place your child can thrive.

I look forward to meeting you.

Mr. Callum Brown
