Thank you if you are considering applying for your child to attend Oakley Primary Academy. We understand that choosing a school for your child is a big decision, and we take our responsibility for their wellbeing, safety and academic progress very seriously.

We are proud of our school and encourage you to read our latest Ofsted report here. We encourage you to come and see us in action for yourself.  Please contact the school office to arrange a visit to see our wonderful school.

 

All applications for Oakley Primary Academy should be completed through Bedford Borough Council. For information on this please visit their website. Please read the guidance carefully and ensure that applications are made before the deadline. If you wish your child to join us mid-way through the year or from another school, the admission procedure is the same.

We offer a broad, balanced and exciting curriculum with a range of opportunities for cross- curricular and extra activities during, before and after school.

We continually strive to provide the best education for our pupils so that they become resilient and independent with the key skills needed to become successful citizens of the 21st century.

Welcome to Oakley Primary Academy

It brings me great pleasure to welcome you to Oakley Primary Academy, a proud member of the Meridian Trust. Having joined the school in September 2023, I am honoured to be here to seek to make Oakley the first-choice school for parents and carers in the heart of the community of our wonderful village and local area.

We hope that, during their time with us, our children will enjoy exciting new experiences, deepen and broaden their knowledge of our curriculum, make new friends and love every day. We are very fortunate to have a highly-experienced, professional and dedicated staff body whom I know are committed to ensuring we do our very best for your children.
