Meridian Trust Arts Festival

Children from Maz's after school dance club will take place in the Meridian Trust Arts Festival.

We will be performing dances choreographed by Maz and songs rehearsed with Mrs Collis. It will be a full day of performing arts, including a choral workshop with a secondary music specialist, rehearsal slots to practise our dance on stage and time in the ‘green’ room, before the evening performance.

Transport: We are providing a coach from Oakley Primary Academy to Great Ouse Primary Academy. Parents will need to pick up after the evening show at 7.30pm.

Dress: Please come to school performance ready! Bright colours and comfortable footwear. If your child chooses to wear a dress or skirt, please ensure they wear shorts underneath.

Food: Please ensure your child has a packed lunch and a packed tea, with plenty of snacks and drinks! Remember our NO NUTS policy – the venue is a school that adheres to the same policy.

Photos/filming: The performance will be livestreamed during the evening on the Meridian Trust YouTube channel. Therefore, no photos or filming will happen during the performance apart from this.

Permissions: Please click the link and complete the Microsoft Form giving us consent to take your child on the coach, be part of the show and allow for your child to be part of the filming of the showcase.
Please click here to give permission.

Tickets: You will be able to purchase a ticket to attend the performance closer to the event. We will contact you with the details nearer the time.

Welcome to Oakley Primary Academy

It brings me great pleasure to welcome you to Oakley Primary Academy, a proud member of the Meridian Trust. Having joined the school in September 2023, I am honoured to be here to seek to make Oakley the first-choice school for parents and carers in the heart of the community of our wonderful village and local area.

We hope that, during their time with us, our children will enjoy exciting new experiences, deepen and broaden their knowledge of our curriculum, make new friends and love every day. We are very fortunate to have a highly-experienced, professional and dedicated staff body whom I know are committed to ensuring we do our very best for your children.

If you are a parent / carer who is considering sending your child to join our fantastic school, we encourage you to come and see us 'in action' during the day. We are confident that you will agree this is a place your child can thrive.

I look forward to meeting you.

Mr. Callum Brown
