Chestnut Class – Year 4
Welcome to Chestnut Class, a vibrant and dedicated group of 21 intelligent, unique, and enthusiastic learners, led by Mrs Guy.
In Chestnut Class, we take pride in upholding the Oakley Three R's—Respectful, Responsible, and Ready to Learn.
These values are at the heart of everything we do, guiding us to be positive role models both in and outside the classroom.
We celebrate kindness, acceptance, and individuality, recognising that our differences make our class community stronger and more special. Each day, we strive to support one another and create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.
Academically, a key focus for us this year is mastering our times tables in preparation for the Multiplication Tables Check. We approach our learning with determination, take pride in the quality and presentation of our work, and always aim to do our best.
We also care deeply about our learning environment. By keeping our classroom and school tidy and looking after our resources, we demonstrate responsibility and respect for the shared spaces we all enjoy.
