  Welcome to Chestnut Class!


Our class teacher is Mrs. Guy. We are a class with children from Years 3 and 4 and we love to work collaboratively to learn new things. We are developing our independence in Chestnut class and show responsibility for our classroom environment and resources by ensuring they are tidy and organised. We show respect to others through listening, consideration and kindness. We start the day with a morning challenge to prepare us for the day ahead and develop our reading skills after lunchtime.

 

Our PE days are on a Monday and Friday. Our library day is Friday.

We give out homework and spellings on a Friday and they are due back by the following Wednesday.

We are looking forward to learning lots of new things this year and gaining new experiences!

Welcome to Oakley Primary Academy

It brings me great pleasure to welcome you to Oakley Primary Academy, a proud member of the Meridian Trust. Having joined the school in September 2023, I am honoured to be here to seek to make Oakley the first-choice school for parents and carers in the heart of the community of our wonderful village and local area.

We hope that, during their time with us, our children will enjoy exciting new experiences, deepen and broaden their knowledge of our curriculum, make new friends and love every day. We are very fortunate to have a highly-experienced, professional and dedicated staff body whom I know are committed to ensuring we do our very best for your children.
