Cherry Tree

 Welcome to Cherry Tree Class!

Our teachers are Mrs Hall and Mrs Johnson. We are very excited to share new learning experiences with you this year.

We love to discover new learning concepts whilst ensuring you continue to build your basic skills in the core subjects. We like to change the learning environment lots so be prepared to find new interesting artefacts to study, particularly on our curiosity cubes! We cannot wait to extend your knowledge of the world around you and work as a team to complete challenges set.

Despite us being from two year groups, our class is a family. We are a group of people who respect each other, enjoy learning together and support each other. We will have PE on Mondays and Tuesdays. Our library day is

Monday too! You will get homework and new spellings on Friday that will be due in on the next Wednesday. Also don’t forget you will have a reading book to help you with your phonics learning.

Looking forward to creating a great year to remember.

Welcome to Oakley Primary Academy

It brings me great pleasure to welcome you to Oakley Primary Academy, a proud member of the Meridian Trust. Having joined the school in September 2023, I am honoured to be here to seek to make Oakley the first-choice school for parents and carers in the heart of the community of our wonderful village and local area.

We hope that, during their time with us, our children will enjoy exciting new experiences, deepen and broaden their knowledge of our curriculum, make new friends and love every day. We are very fortunate to have a highly-experienced, professional and dedicated staff body whom I know are committed to ensuring we do our very best for your children.

If you are a parent / carer who is considering sending your child to join our fantastic school, we encourage you to come and see us 'in action' during the day. We are confident that you will agree this is a place your child can thrive.

I look forward to meeting you.

Mr. Callum Brown
