Parent Consultations

Parents Evening System

I am pleased to say that Miss Randell is back at school after being very poorly with pneumonia. Mrs Green and Mrs Flint looked after the children amazingly. Miss Randell has already commented today about how the children were much more independent since she last saw them and is very impressed with their writing.

Mss Randell is very keen to meet you to discuss your child’s progress, although we are mindful that she is still building her strength back up. To support her with her return we will be holding the meetings virtually for two morning sessions:

Tuesday 1st March 9.00am -12.00pm
Wednesday 2nd March 9.00am -12.00pm

The online booking appointment system is now open for you to book your appointments. You will be able to choose your appointment time and you will receive an email confirming your appointment.

Please visit to book your appointments, a link can also be found on our website under parents/parentsconsultations. You will need to login with your son/daughter’s first name and surname, together with their date of birth.

All pupils will be offered a 10-minute video call slot. The system automatically begins and ends the meetings at the specified time, so please ensure you are ready for the start of the meeting.

If you have any difficulties logging in or making an appointment, please contact the school.

We appreciate your flexibility in meeting during the morning, although, if this is not a suitable time for you, please contact the school and we will arrange a more convenient time.

This year you can also invite another parent/guardian to join the appointment from a different device. Please see the attached ‘how to guide’.

Welcome to Oakley Primary Academy

I would like to welcome you to Oakley Primary Academy. We are a friendly village school with exciting times ahead as we begin our journey of being part of the newly formed Meridian Trust. We work closely with all the schools within the Trust, as well as other schools and pre-schools in the local area. This enables us to share expertise, good practice and learn and move forward together. The close links we have with the pre-schools enable us to really get to know the pupils and their families before they join the Early Years.

We are proud to be a ‘Values School’. The values we teach are modelled by our staff members and through our teaching of the curriculum. We are a supportive and hardworking team, where all stakeholders are valued and listened to.

At Oakley Primary Academy we deliver the National Curriculum through a creative curriculum so that learning is creative, fun, and meaningful. There is a clear progression of knowledge in each subject to enable children to grow in all areas and be successful, not only academically, but in daily life.

We work very closely with the families of our school and acknowledge the importance of close home/school links.

We have an open-door policy and there is always someone available if you wish to talk.

I am extremely proud of our school and of all the hard work from our pupils, families, staff, and governors.

Please visit our website to find out more about Oakley Primary.
